A New Centre for Ballymena

A former Campaigner from Ballymena Elim (Patricia Wright ) and her mum Lucinda decided, as the result of their experiences with Campaigners, to start Clans in their own church, Cornerstone Ballykeel.

Lucinda and Patricia along with Jean Weir and Pauline Lamont trained in Coleraine Baptist on 9 th and 10 th October 2009 and started their Clans – Eagles, Junos and Inters – the following Tuesday night. What excitement as approximately 30 young people turned up on the first night!

The Centre’s Dedication Service was held on Sunday 22 nd November. The church was packed with parents and friends. The Regional Chief, Hugh Kerr, dedicated the Chiefs and Clansmen, praying God’s blessing on the future of the Clans. The service concluded with a time of fellowship round a cup of tea.
