Aims of the Campaigners
Campaigners have a definite emphasis in spiritual matters but through a varied programme of weekly and
annual events we offer a lot of choices to our clansmen in developing new skills and meeting with
their colleagues at sporting, and other, days-out.

At our weekly Parade evenings and Sunday Bible Classes,we, as Chiefs, Chaplains and Helpers, seek by life and lip
to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. It is our prayer that, through the workings of the Holy Spirit, many of our Clansmen will surender their
young lives to our Lord Jesus Christ, and develop a simple faith in Him.

In Campaigners we seek to help in the development and deepening of their Christian faith by encouraging them to
adopt times of Bible Study and Prayer and Fellowship and regular attendance at all the relevant meetings in their local church.

Potential leadership training is built in to many of our Award Schemes; viz;Laurel, Coronet and Crown. In each of these Schemes their
is a lot of importance attached to 'practically helping' the Chiefs of the younger groups for a period of up to 6 months.

It is one of our many aims that the local Church may really benefit from having a Campaigner Clan as part of it's Children and Youth Ministry.
Campaigners are totally committed to Christian Leadership and, over the year/s, invaluable bonds develop
between the Church Members, Clansmen, their family.

Several former Campaigners have testified how friendships formed at a Church and Campaigners, and at camps, have lasted a life time.
Many of these have gone in to full time Chrstian Ministry both at home in Northern Ireland and overseas.
